ECU problems

I need to replace the ECU in my 1999 Eclipse GS, and was am confused about a few things. One, an ECU is the same as an ECM, right? Also, the only standard ECU I can find is for a '96 Eclipse/Talon/Avenger standard; will this fit into my 99 Eclipse? Below is the link to the part I am looking into getting.

as long as you have a 420a motor then it looks good to me.

I also asked this on Yahoo! Answers and someone mentioned the earlier models had manual windows and things like that, so would that affect whether the ECU would work or not?
