2G Defroster not working.

Hello!
My rear defroster dont work. The button light up, but nothing happen on the rear windshield. I checked the fuses, but they are allright. I tested the connectors on the windshield and there is a short somewhere.
My question is where do I have to look first in order to fix it?

Usually the copper lines across the back window get cut or scratched and this prevents electrical connection to the defroster.

This usually happens when some one removes window tint from the back window

Yeah if you order a repair kit on amazon, its called rear defroster repair kit

Its basically a copper touch up paint. You use the copper paint and a little paint brush to connect the lines on the defroster to themselves to connect the circuit

The connectors on the windshield should have a short circuit.
Its a heating coil.
Check if you have 12V on the connector when you turn it on.
The other side needs a ground connection.
If you search for a cut in the heating line, you can put a white sheet of paper on it and a bright light from the other side.

I dont have 12V on the connector.
Is there a way to fix it someohow?

Connector E10 needs 12v when the switch is on.

If you dont have 12V then the switch is bad or the relay or the fuse or the wire.
You have to check on by one.

You said fuse is good, did you check with resistance?

Defogger Relay is B67 under the steering wheel.

Here is the plan , wire color is for example B-R (Blue line with a Red stripe)
The Numbers in the circle like E-14 are connectors, after every connector the color of the wire can change .

You want to know why this line has no power. Starting at the fuse 30A.
If you have 12V on the whole line to E10 then the heating line is powered and get hot, when its not broken.
