Speed not working

Soo i my speed was off 40 mph so i would go 80 and it would mark 40 on the dash so i replaced the vehicle speed sensor and now it doesnt read at all please help

it's the dash most likely, just get one replacement one from a pull-a-part or a donor car for a few bucks

I have another one but its from the n/a can i take off the speed part to see if it reads

You can unbolt the speedo if I remember right

Its a gst 95
