Using the instructions http://www.2gnt.com/?d=ATMT I did an auto to manual conversion on my 1999 eclipse gs 420a. Everything works fine except the speed sensor I wired up. I wired the three wires coming from the speed sensor to the wires corresponding on the ecu plug. I don't know for sure the wires are the correct ones, so if anyone knows for sure which wires that would be great. The power is going to the sensor, reading around 8.9 volts, but there isn't anything coming out, if so only slightly. The gauge cluster doesn't budge. Someone please help!!!!!!!!

You do have the auto trans computer unplugged or if its still plugged in, the (yellow/white) wire is disconnected from it, correct?

Pull out the gauge cluster and youll see 3 plugs. On the plug on the right, you need to check voltage between the bottom/left pin and ground. With the ignition switch on, you should get battery voltage

here is a copy of the electrical manual if itll help

If its still connected, you will have 2 paths for the current to travel, take a look at the diagram, on the AT it shows the (yellow/white) wire goes to an internal ground inside the ATX ecu
where as on the MT it is internally grounded at PCM PIN44 (black/green) .

The (yellow/white) wire shouldn't be connected to the ATX ecu

So if I cut the yellow white wire from the atx ECU it should possibly do the trick?

Can you just unplug the trqnsmission computer, then turn on the ignition, then check the voltage between Vss plug PIN3 (yellow/white) and ground (-).

Holy shit that did it!!!!!!!! Wow I can't believe it was that simple just to unplug the computer!!! Thankyou so much for helping me out with this you saved my ass. Thankyou

Cool. Glad you got it working.

if you havent switched to a MT PCM, doing so will get rid of the CEL and raise your rev limit 500rpms
