I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had the non-turbo. On the 2g NT the tach signal is from the PCM.
Hi, I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. I have put a turbo onto it now, but my problem is my rpm gauge works but only start to read in the higher revolutions of the engine. I do not believe it is 100 percent accurate as well, it will get to about 3 thousand rpms when the engine is about 6 or 7. The speedometer does not work at all, i looked at the gear that is in the tranny and it was still intact. I am going to check fuses to rule that out, but if they are fine what else could you think?
