Cutting up at 6k after raising psi

Alright I was running on 14.5 lbs on my Tial gate, well I wanted to raise boost levels. My boost controller is a Hallman Pro, with it loosened almost all the way out the least amount of boost I can run is 22 lbs. Well thats another issue for me since I did'nt wanna just jump 7.5 lbs! Anyways its pulling fine till 6k and then starting cutting up, any advise would be awesome. Pulled the plugs and they are the 7 ES and they are gapped .028 and look great. Next I am switching wires.

Sounds like fuel cut to me.

Did you upgrade your fuel pump? Upgraded injectors? Any type of air fuel controller (dsm link, maft, afc neo, ect...).

A built engine is no good without having the proper devices to control it.

255 Walbro, 1000cc AFI injectors and DSM link V3. So yea that part is'nt the issue here.

1000cc!!! Are you running E85?

Can you post an image of your log when it sarts cutting out? What are all the values reading?

Too large of an injector can cause some problems. I have seen it before. A kid down the street had that problem the other day on his 240sx. But you have DSM link so I don't know about that to be honest.

No its not available in my area, they flow 950cc. But the size of injector isn't the issue here as far as I know.

I got mine at 22 and 19psi.

just keep going down a step until it gets better and you hit that sweet spot.
It may be tedious, but its worth it.

Try going down to .024". I personally had to gap smaller when running around 22 psi with the stock ignition and bpr 7es plugs.

I just had to gap mine down to .025 since it got cold running 20psi. Same initial problem, breaking up around 6k.

Yea I am running stock ignition, Im going to go to .024. Also going to index the plugs.

A TD05H 20G was blowing out BPR7ES's gapped at .028" in my buddy's 2G with 10mm wires and the stock coil at around 22psi.

Changed the gap tighter to .024" now it seems to run fine.
