Dont know if when doing a compression test to i have to just crank the engine. or do i crank the engine and let the engine turn on.

No compression in any cylinder? If so, you're doing something wrong. Either that or your valves are stuck open. Does the engine run fine?the reson is because i did it with just the engine cranking and i got no compression at all. what could it be
