Sounds good man. Thanks for taking the time. The car is smooth I would imagine because of the auto. A ton of guys are still 5 speed.

Your car was definitely smooth as hell, it was bad ass sounding and ripped out of the hole, loved watching you run! Congrats!

That's a very well done compound setup, I really like the layout. I'm glad I got to meet you and see it run this weekend, and congrats on the win!

From the videos it sounds NUTS!!! I can't hear the compressors in the car but it sounds crazy outside apparently.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Got to meet and talk to some very inspiring dsm'ers over the weekend. I seriously cannot thank enough the guys like Marco and Jeff Bush along with anyone I forget for answering all my annoying questions. Thanks again.

I like you compound guys. Something fresh for once. I am really impressed.

^^ +1. Almost done buiding my 2g. Can't wait to start on a new project next year, I'm sure I'll be returing to threads like this picking up inspiration. Really enjoy this build it was cool just following the thread. Making it to the shootout to see it would've been a great touch but at least there was a lot of coverage of one seriously classic event :rocks:

I believe it is a chrome base with a transparent blue bought from powderbuythepound.

Haha thanks man. Drove it for the first time in a while today and it was nothing short of fricken blast!

Finally an update!!

Tyler talked me into this stuff

So far the 2150s and twin walbros are working. Needed to add a ton of fuel but that is expected. 10:1 AFR is different to tune too. Tyler tuned his talon to 10.3-10.5:1 and his engine looked great internal wise when we pulled the head off today. So I will target that number. I may be going to a magnafuel over the winter and see what she will do.

Back on E85 due to fuel constraints and turned the boost up. Going head to head against my old shop this weekend so video will follow!

Done for the season. Tried turning it up and this engine I built 3 years ago couldn't take 40psi @ 3500 for 4ish seconds while the dumbass in the next lane doesn't understand there is two lights. Lifted the head and hydrolocked the engine on the first pass at the starting line. Currently getting parts together for my next engine. Should make it a little bit easier on everything.
