So here's the real question about the stang. Are we talking about a 4.6L SOHC or DOHC? The SOHCs can make power, but nowhere near as easily as the DOHCs do. I used to be really big into Mustangs and was spending a lot of time on stangnet for awhile. I was buying a Mustang SVO at one point but the seller decided not to sell. Those 2.3L turbo pinto motors were damn good motors though. Were easy to get 300hp out of with the ones that came with the IHI turbo.
 
Tyler actually holds the pump gas 2.3L record at 585 hp in his turbo coupe.

We are going to be using a 4 valve 4.6L for the big power car.
 
I finally started my own shop in Paw Paw MI, customer wanted my old car but even crazier than I did it. Of course the 2nd time around you make things better. This will be at shootout whether it runs or not but its damn close to firing.

Primary turbo which i wish was more normally flanged is a DSM 71HTA, and the secondary is a TiAL turbine 1.10 HTA 4205. It has a set of moran 250s and FIC 1120s, Twin fuel lab pumps, filled block, aluminum rodded 2.0L, FP4Rs, my old head, tubular subframes, Magnus intake manifold, ect ect
