So I installed a walbro 525 Hellcat pump (haven't done the rewire kit yet) as well as an fuelab mini fpr and recirculated my bov since I didn’t realize that needed to happen. I'm also on stock injectors running a Chinese 20g housing with 20g billet internals.

Anyways I was hoping after installing the fpr and setting it to the base fuel pressure that my car would be less rich and I could get it closer to the 14.7 area but its sitting around 13.1. Also when I put my foot into it a bit or shift gears and then press the gas, the afr will jump to 15.3 then back down to 14.5-14.7 area while cruising. I can ease into boost but 10psi is max before it wants to cut out and it can boost to 20psi.

I have done some research and tried messing around with the FPR and my BOV a bit, but nothing has changed.

Also throws p0170 for Fuel Trim Bank 1. Any ideas on what could be wrong or what I should look into? This is only my temp setup, but want to be able to drive her around a bit without these issues until I get everything for my new setup.

You should do a bit more research on this platform. The ecu is cutting fuel based on its factory calibration. Its not a carburator that you can change the fuel pressure to run a better afr, the stock computer sees the air flow into the turbo and makes calibrations based on having a factory original fuel system, and will cut fuel when it senses too much air flow from the turbo

You will need to buy dsm link and do your own computer tuning to run more than 12psi boost

I've done a bunch of research just guess I haven't been doing all the right searching. That would make sense though, I appreciate the response. Was planning on getting DSMLink soon anyways, so guess I'll just wait:cry:

You should consider upgrading your fuel return setup and this includes in the tank. How low can you get the fuel pressure down to at idle with the fpr?

I assume with that big ass pump that your just over running your fuel return flow.

I also suggest not hitting your “20 psi” with your stock injectors or your next posts will be titled something like “help with engine rebuild suggestions”. Your inj duties are probably through the roof at that time.

Yeah the computer programming must be modified to give it new knowledge on your setup.
Right now all the ecu can see is you have a bunch of new air flow from a bigger turbo and it knows nothing else. I wish it was wise enough to know how to self calibrate based on air fuel ratio readings, but the stock setting has the ecu favoring readings from the mass air flow sensor

ECU has what the factory though were safe airflow values so that they could protect against a wastegate failure and boost run away. They are also close to what the factory fuel injectors can deliver without going past 100% DC so you don't have a meltdown.

Once you start changing things that safety net gets in your way.

That’s one of the things on my list. Have like almost 3k in parts that I’ll be ordering hopefully soon.

And no I won’t, I accidentally hit it once that’s how I realized. I haven’t even been hitting 15 when I was able too. Im not trying to blow my engine just yet😂

Sounds like you're modding backwards, Ecmlink should have been your first mod.
Well I got AEM series 1 and have had it for a while but don’t want to put it into my car anymore since I want DSM or Ecmlink and AEM doesn’t support V1.

I guess I’ve been putting it off a bit… but probably time that’s my next pick up
