I own a 95 GSX and I just replaced all the pads and rotors. I took it for a test drive and everything went smooth except for the fact that it sounds like the pads are rubbing against the rotor. It is only on the driver side rear. I removed the caliper and noticed the outer pad is rubbing against the inside of the rotor. The pad also has some wear on the inside as well. I checked the wheel bearing for any play and it was fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

It sounds like a seized caliper. My caliper was seized so bad once that the rotor was red/blue hot from the rubbing. If that rubbing is producing heat it might cause other damage.

i just did the same thing on my 97 gst and the rear drivers side pad is having the same problem. Only difference is its rubbing on only the outside.
