Pulley rubbing timing cover!!!

I know that that this type of problem has been asked before but the pulleys on the outside have been rubbing on the lower timing cover, which in turn is melting and grinding it away. So to attempt to fix this issue I went to the my local car junk yard and got a timing cover and pulleys from a car (the "new" timing cover had no damage). So I replaced everything and it is still doing the same thing.

I would check the pulley while the engine is running. See if there is any wobble while rotating. Sometimes its the pulley and sometimes its the shaft that the pulley is on. I have experienced this in Military vehicles even brand new ones. The bolt holes for the harmonic balancer going into the crank were out of spec as in shallow and oblong. This is my advice. sounds like the rubber on the harmonic balancer separated allowing the drive portion of the pulley to walk into the timing cover. If you cant tell this by looking at it, use a pry bar behind the pulley and lightly pry, if its separated the outside portion of the pulley will move. Im on my 3rd harmonic balancer, and the 1 piece pulleys are not recommended for the harmonic balancer. hope this helps

That comes from not having the timing cover bolted on all the way. If there are a few bolts missing than it will rub.

Not familiar with the NT motors but make sure that none of the pulleys were installed backwards (lip on wrong side).
