While i have everything apart i decided to rebuild the calipers. Have one done and painted!

Thanks to calan for the guide to help me along.

I used Beck Arnley 071-7888 rebuild kit. It comes with everything to do both fronts.

were did you buy the kit at???
amazon.com it was $21.02. You would be suprised how much stuff amazon.com has and some of it is cheaper than rockauto.

I planned once to do a writeup on this. I lost all the pics in a hard drive crash :(.

Looks great! How much time was involved on that one caliper?
I would say roughly ~1 hour not counting waiting time for everything(paint to dry etc). Longest part is cleaning the old paint off and getting the surface ready for primer.
Also i have yet to do the clear coat that is supposed to help make the paint last. I will be doing the other caliper first then clear both.

Thanks to everyone for the comments.

do you feel any difference in braking power or brake pedal feel?

Car will be apart for a while so i dont know yet.

I wouldnt think it would make much of a difference, its more of a maintenance thing meaning it would work fine until the seals got too old and started leaking then at that point you would be in trouble.
