if you have and know how to use a welded , then im sure you dont need direction.
at any rate. i used a piece of conduet and a 1/8th" plate for mine. the plate dont need to follow the shape of the BOV that exact, it just needs to be the same or bigger. Drill 2 mounting holes and the vent hole. no / prob

I was fortunate enough to have a piece of flat 1/4 pvc board laying around to make a flange. This was glued to a 1" pvc coupling. It started out as a temporary solution so that I could play around with my 1g bov before getting a flange. At this point it's well on it's way to permanency.

Hehe, it came as a back mounting plate in a couple large electrical enclosures I had at work. It's handy stuff. Easy to cut and heat it a little and you can shape it.

Anyone know where I could buy a GReddy type S BOV adapter for my stock IC piping. I saw one at dsmparts.com, but it was $40, and that seemed really pricy. I thought that there had to be some place out there that sold these things for cheaper than that.

Looks like not a bad piece, and is a great idea to replace that extremely crappy plastic 2g bov, that leak like crazy. Are you planning on doing more mods down the road? If so I would have gone straight for an aftermarket upper intercooler pipe with a 1g flange as the stock 2g uicp is a pretty big restriction.

The kinks in the 2G UICP are really restrictive. If you look at it you'll see how badly it is designed. If I were you I'd go ahead and replace the whole thing. Get a Dejon Tool replacement or something similar. You'll be happy, I guarantee it.

Expensive for a bov flange adapter, yes but its also one piece and machined from aluminum. I don't think its really overpriced for how its made. Now if it was a steel flange with a tube welded to it, then yes $32 is a rip off.

Yes I would defently replace that uicp take a look at it under the fuse box and youll see how much of a restriction it is. Plus the rubber hose part of the pipe expands under boost and the factory tb elbow isn't designed that well. Get a pipe that includes a new elbow as well, you'll defently be happy with the purchase

After doing some research and seeing what would work, I enlisted our metal shop to manufacture a 1G BOV to 2G adapter. It came out pretty nice so I thought I would share some pics. My talon should be finished up this weekend and I'll have to get the title moved from a salvage to an R but that should only take about two weeks. Just a thought, I work for a school district and the metal shop is always looking for projects so some of you might want to look to your local schools for smaller items. Our next job is going to be a solid titanium, 3 point front strut brace and I'll be sure to keep the pictures coming.

Not likely. There seem to be enough of these units out there but it was fun letting the "kids" play. They are all anxious to have me bring the car up here when its finished and to start taking measurements for the strut brace.

Fabricating things are super fun. Me and my buddy made a hard recirculation pipe out of stainless wall pipe. it replaces the stock recirc. tubing that is on a 1g. It makes the bov a bit louder too.- and it looks cool.
My buddy is also making a strut tower for his 92 civic as well. I want to see how that comes out so he can craft me a downpipe.....mmmm.
