Best Upgrades?

I just bought my 96 gs-t its in rough condition and sadly my mechanic is a muscle car love.So i dont know nothing about tuners. id like to know what the best upgrades would be for a street legal car for start to finish. Please include estimated price for each pieces.Any advice would also be very helpful. Thank you!

Try to find a used 14b turbo in the classifieds for a reasonable price....way better than that t25

Number 2 = Haynes Manual. Then sit down and do a bit of reading. Make sure to really soak in the words between the front cover and the back cover. Those are the important ones.

As an FYI in regards to the upgrade path. It is very old and outdated, so please don't follow it to the T. Use it as a helper to searches that you perform, which will net you more/better info. We're in the process of upgrading the paths, but it's not just a plug and play task

I would get the car in perfect condition before upgrading. But you can always get the 1g bov and a injen intake pipe. The stock pipe is pretty restrictive. You can upgrade to hard pipeing.

Maintenance first dude. With all my bolt ons, my car doesn't even pull like stock form. Reason, bad compression. Good luck and have fun... You. Will. Learn! *evil laugh*

1. Maintainance and a full exhaust.
2. ECMLink V3 Lite, a wideband, and a boost guage.
3. Bigger fuel pump with a rewire kit and AFPR.
4. Larger injectors.
5. 14b or 16G, a manual boost controller, and a decent FMIC.

That alone should net you mid to low 13 second quarter mile times if you are FWD..
