So today while I was driving my trans was shifting great and I went to the parts store and shut my car off and when I started it back up the trans felt like it was lagging and the eco/power light isn't on and od dosent seem to be working the trans feels like its stuck in 3rd, I pulled the tcu and it looks fine also if I manually down shift it nothing happens.

You mean you pulled the codes from your TCU or you "Pulled" the TCU? Seems pretty straight forward that the tranny is in limp mode which sticks it in 3rd. Pull the codes from the TCU to find out what the problem is. If there is no response from the TCU it is dead, if it functions and there are no problems there is a code that tells all is fine.

tcu is bad, i just brought a 91 gsx today and the car was in limp. replace with another tcu car shift now. good luck
