Hey guys,

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my motor with forged internals. I'm also switching to a top mount T3 exhaust manifold, and to make the project look 'unique', we've decided to invert the orientation of the turbocharger. Mockup of its position can be found in the pictures below:

I absolutely adore how it looks like right now, however ...
Do you guys foresee any major complications that I might encounter when running a setup like this? I'm aware that the compressor side will be sucking hotter air from the engine bay, compared to a standard setup with a cold air intake, but at which point does this really begin to matter? Thanks a bunch in advance!

As long as the drain is sitting flat (horizontal) then the orientation is fine. Sneaking the oil drain around all of the hot parts looks like the biggest obstacle.

Thanks for your input guys, really appreciate it!

Here's how the manifold turned out, personally I am in love with the result looks wise

Where are you running your gates?
Looks like they care trying to run one gate for both sides.

For the size gate you are attempting to run and all the poor angles, yes. Will it work, maybe. It certainly would work at high boost. If you are trying to run like 5psi, you will likely have problems.
