HOPEFULLY THIS WILL MAKE THE BASIC E85 INFORMATION MORE CENTRALIZED AND EASIER TO FIND FOR THE DSM'rs WHO ARE JUST GETTING THEIR NOSE WET AND ARE UNSURE OF WHAT E85 IS.

Has anyone tryed running E85 in their dsm? Their is a station in my area that sells it and it's not much more than regular gas. It is 85% ethanol and 15% gas and is 110 octane . It could be a cheap alternative to race gas.

When you put 1000's on e85 and they turn in to 670's. Take this image (from Calan's linktools) for what it is worth.

This is all assuming the information entered is correct. I would say 300-350 or so and you will be out of the "safe zone." Call FIC or use their calculator here to give you a more basic idea. Fuel Injectors Flow Calculator - Fuelinjectorclinic

I'm looking for some help finding my global for my injectors. I have FIC 1050s that flow 1080 and I had everything dialed in on e85~e80 at -37% global and around 315 deadtime. Now I just went to fill up and my car wont stay running.

So I checked the ethanol content, and what do ya know, it's e40. I found a spreadsheet on this site, but I can't get the gas ratio out of it to multiply my injectors by to get the actual flow rate on e40. ECMlink's wiki doesn't have values for E40. Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind, I think I'm getting it figured out. Still needs tweaking ### my wideband says I'm lean.
