The more i dig the more i am getting confused.

I tried emailig and calling kiggly but get no response.

If i have the flexplate do i just need this adapter?http://kigglyracing.com/all/transmission-engine-adapter-plate-kit.html

Or do i need to buy the full kit that also includes a kiggly flex plate?

Like i said the more i read the more im thrown off

That kit is for a 2G transmission with a 6-bolt engine. Forget about it.

What's the code on the bellhousing for the transmission you're using?

All the 1g autos interchange. All that's different is the flex plate. The 2g transmissions have a different torque converter that locks up, so a spacer, and kiggly plate are needed to bolt a 6-bolt up to a 2g transmission.

So i just need the flexplatr, inner and outter washers(spacers) for 6 bolt and im good? Thatll save me like 300 dollars if thats the case

Tried reading the code but cant.. im going to trust the wisemen though in this one and use my 6bolt flex and get the spacers(only thing i dont have).

Its 2 bad the head isnt a direct swap over, thatd save me money too.

According to this diagram(its 7bolt plate) i just need the pilot bushing for 6 bolt and the 2 spacers correct?

One more question.. is the 7bolt 1g flex plate the same 4bolt TC pattern. I know 2g is a 3...

Also my crank has a dowel on it and the flexplate doesnt have a hole for it.. is it because my cranks from a manual? Do i need to do something there?

i still have my trans in my car until i get the other one built so sorry for all the questions. I just dont want to go to do the swap and have to wait on parts deliveries.

pretty sure 3 bolt is non-turbo auto. I have a 93 auto awd parts car. the flex plate has 4 tabs. NOT 3.

What exactly is it that you are wanting to do? Are you trying to swap your 93 awd from manual to auto?

you should just need a 6 bolt flex plate and spacers. as long as you are staying 1g, the trans doesn't care if the motor is a 6 bolt or a 7 bolt as long as it can connect to the flex plate. (don't forget to have the pilot bushing put into the 6 bolt crank when you swap..)

Thats what i needed.. does the 6bolt crank have a dowel on the plate side? Mine was out of a manual and i believe it has one on it

The crank will NOT have a dowel. If it does, remove it. The crank will have a center bushing. If it does not have the center bushing, which it won't if its coming from a manual car, then you will need to get one.

My pleasure.

So to be clear, the things you will need are:

6 bolt turbo 1g flex plate
2 spacers for the flex plate
1 crank center bushing
6 Flex plate to crank bolts
4 flex plate to converter bolts (check the thread pitch as they differed between years).

And remove dowel pin... this thread should be helpful for the next guy... i almost wasted 300 on a kiggly kit from bad advice

if you plan on making power, id advise you to get a kiggly flex plate. but if you are staying under 500hp, i don't believe you need to buy any aftermarket parts. all the parts I listed above are what you need.

Its a daily and will be built motor but dont plan on more than 400 to 450. I may do the kiggly plate to be safe though. Which is still much cheaper than $300

For what it's worth, I ran for a few years on a stock flex plate beating the snot out of the car at 30psi on. 59lb/min turbo. The car trapped 130.75 in the 1/4 full weight. It may be a good idea to upgrade while you are in there, but I personally wouldn't say it's necessary if you are keeping it mild.
