Turbo AWD Automatic. Well long story short I bought this car and got a ton of extra parts with it. The headgasket decided to go out on me within 2 days of buying it to the point it wouldnt crank. So now Im getting ready to start working on it. The only thing with it right now is that Ive got a spare 6 bolt block that I would like to build before I rip the car down but the guy that sold me the car only had one main cap for it. I could get some more main caps for free from a friend but I still havent priced getting it line bored.

Mods when I got the car:
walboro 255, 2g manifold and o2 ported, small 16g

Left over stuff from parting out my neon:
Adjustable FPR, AEM wideband, 30/30 phantom boost gauge, gunmetal slipstreams

So far I have purchased:
Front mount with piping, 3in gm maf, mbc, wiseco/manley stroke combo, arp head studs, MLS headgasket

Up next:
2.4 crank, dsmlink v3, 1200cc injectors, BC cams, hughes stall

Then later on Im going to go with a bigger turbo as soon as I have the cash for it.

its gonna get gunmetal rotas, I was able to sell the 16g setup today so that helped

Nice build i just got done with my 92 auto gsx. Did you have any issues with the prothane mounts, I wasnt able to use the trans mount do to different offset of were the center bolt goes through the mount. I wish i would have got my torque converter done, I decided to wait to see how the trans holds up.

The front and back mounts. I had to get the 5 speed actual mount because the opening is a dif size on the auto's. I have my srt to daily drive so I was able to have the car down long enough to do everything. The car will still be very street friendly, its got a spranged converter, cruise, ac, powersteering.

Oh ok, I was able to use the Front, rear, and the driverside mount out of the kit, I used a brand new oem stock on for the trans. Motor is very stiff.

on one of the pics of the engine on the stand i was curious to know why the knock sensor was on the front of the block.

Mistake, I swapped it before I put it in the car. Thanks for the comments guys.:hellyeah:

Waiting on one clamp and one flange up at the shop before the o2 will be finished. Got my second slim fan also ready to go on. Probably gonna get one more fan for it and hopefully be done.

Yea not sure what happend to the flange, it rusted in like a week with the hood shut in my yard. Its just a little surface rust though.

2.4 crank + forged rods and forged stroker pistons = cheapish stroker motor.

Well the car is back at my house and almost ready, putting on 2 more radiator fans today then changing the oil and hopefully cranking it tomorrow. Then I hope to have it on the road by tomorrow night.

What's up with the knock sensor being on the front side of the block?

Took it to get it inspected, made it there and back and it popped a line off the tranny cooler when we got back to the house, put some new clamps on and I think its either over full or under full cause it wont go anywhere, but when all the wheels are off the ground they turn when its in drive. Too much snow to mess with it today.

Bought a full tranny rebuild kit since it probably needed it having 150+k miles on it. Hopefully have it rebuilt and on the road within 2 weeks. Got a tag on it now atleast.

Little update, car is running, just rebuilt the trans since it had almost 160k on it. Should be doing a little tuning coming up soon. Also ordered some parts from SBR and now they are ignoring me and wont send me the stuff I paid for.

Gonna run a slim fan pushing air on the front side, a slim fan pulling on the back, and a chopped up stock fan.

Good luck with SBR, some have had good experiences with them but after arguing with them for 5 months.... yes i said that correctly 5 months on a $500+ order it never arrived on my door and i spent another few months getting my money back.

On a more positive note, looks like you are building a beast grats!
