Here's a quick breakdown of the important parts on my car:

2.3 stroker, GT40R turbo, TRE race trans, Exedy Twin disc

Problem: I was on my way home from work the other night and I stop at a light. It turns green and I ease the trans into first gear, shifted into 2nd and started to slowly boost (car is at 16psi at the moment) At the top of 2nd, I try to shift quickly into third gear and it grinded pretty bad. After nodding my head because I missed a gear, I gather myself and try to put it into 3rd gear gently. The car would not get into 3rd gear, so I try 4th, still I get nothing, so I take my next turn and pull over.

The car remains on and I try to shift into 1st gear and it won't go into 1st gear either. I tried to shift into 2nd gear, but it won't get into gear. It feels as if there's something blocking the shifter from going into gear.

I turn the car off. With the car off, the shifter goes through all the gears smoothly.
I turn the car back on, and still, it won't get into any gears.
I turned the car back off, slid it into 1st gear and tried to start the car.
With the clutch depressed all the way and trans was in 1st gear, the car starting hopping forward. (in which I believed to be a disengagement issue)

I pushed the car home with one of my buddies. (I was about a block away from home when this problem happened)
I start the car the next morning and to my suprise, all the gears work. I took the car for a drive around the block a few times with no problem, no grinds or anything, (DEFINITELY NOT A SYNCHRO ISSUE) then the problem happened again. It didn't want to get into any of the gears with the car on.

I own two 2g AWD's and checked/compared the shifter cables and brackets, hydraulics (re-bled) and everything seems to be OK. But the problem remains.

The trans shifts fine when cold, after it starts to warm up it seems as if something's blocking the shifter from moving into any gear.

Anyone ever had this happen to them? Please let me know!

I know you said that you rebled the clutch system, but it sounds as though the slave or master cylinder are crapping out on you. Check them both over thoroughly, to see if there are any leaks. If there are not, get the car to do it while it is warm, then check the two again.

This happened to me before. It ended up being a spring popped out of my clutch disc. It was hanging up on the pressure plate so essentially it was never disengaging. Hopefully it's something easier for you though. I sort of doubt it's in the master/slave cylinder because it worked for a while the next day. Good luck.

What clutch are you using?
