2G auto awd to manual awd questions

i have two AWD cars both 1995's the car that will be swapped is my 95 tsi awd but its auto and my 1995 GSX donor car witch is manual both cars are complete but my auto trans has gone out so i'm wanting to swap my auto to manual. my question is can you use the manual trans and diff from my mt car and not change the rear diff from my auto? is the auto rear end and manual rear end a different gear ratio? they both are 95 awd turbo cars

and for a straight answer, they are different. you would have to swap out both. a/t's stay with a/t's and m/t's w m/t's.
