Nice score! That’s been my only complaint with my insta360, the wind noise. I’ll have to look into an external mic. But without a doubt the BEST way to record some racing!
This one is just an x3 but it's by far better than my one X.

I looking at a DJI wireless mic setup, about $100 for the mic, receiver and charger and what not. I'm just worried about mic security on the outside of the car honestly.

The footage they get is really great, but editing via the app is absolute atrocious, and really inconvenient to put it in the computer and edit through the pro editor.

I Cut my video down from like 15 minutes to 9 minutes and it took over 3 hours to export it in 1440p to my phone. Awful.

Drove the car to work 3 times this week without any issues whatsoever.
So far the the new power steering line seems to have solved the leak but im checking the bottom of the steering pump and under the car everyday for leaks. So far there have been none on the driver side.

The transmission has a leak though. Seems to be coming from the mating surfaces of the trans somewhere. I dont have the will to pull the trans apart right now to just re-seal it. So that will have to wait until i do.

I got the battery box bolted down to the chassis of the car again so now the battery and box are sliding around everywhere anymore.

This week specifically i noticed more oil around the catch can area than normal so i decided to look into it. Turns out it was pretty much full so it was coming out of the vent a bit. Got that emptied and it was pretty nasty.
I also pulled the whole can apart and stuffed some more stainless baffling. There was basically zero baffling media in there, just a tiny bit inside the inlets of the catch can. Pretty disappointing honestly.

Clutch break in is going well. I REALLY hate how far up this clutch fully disengages. Its basically all the way at the top and the rest of the pedal travel seems to do nothing. Im going to switch to my 2g clutch slave and since its a larger bore it wont push as much fluid as fast as the 1g slave will. This will basically slow down the disengagement and require more pedal travel to accomplish the same amount of release which should push the engagement point closer to the floor where I personally feel is more comfortable to drive.
Once this clutch is broke in, im going to try and do a little 1/8th mile hit with my dragy and see what this ol girl will do.

With a shitty roll out / no launch control yet im going to guess it should run like a 7.6x @ probably 94? Idk we'll see. Ill be sure to record it and post it up. Really depends on how well I work the clutch which is probably pretty badly LOL

Replaced the slave with the 2g slave and the clutch pedal and disengagement feels LOADS better. When letting off the clutch it seems to engage about right in the middle of travel instead of all at the top. Incredibly more streetable, IMO.

Another plus is that the clutch pedal is lighter too. Just a little bit.

I picked something up from the classifieds here. A clutch slipper valve. I'll get it hooked up to the ECU and clutch line so that the solenoid will activate with launch control and control the rate of release of the clutch and should have some decent 60' times.

Well boys it's official. I'm slow.

I wasn't going to do an 8th mile hit but I was front at a stop light and a good straight stretch of road.

No launch control setup so I rolled into it and it kinda bogged hard in 1st and this is what we ended up with LOL

Gotta start somewhere! That’s exciting the clutch feels better, I’d imagine once you get that thing dialed in we’ll see some NLTS:sneaky:
Hopefully some day but I'm a little cautions of nlts 3rd and 4th LOL

I've got the 92 "HD" 3rd and 4th but I know they arent indestructible.

Oh and I forgot that pass was only on 32psi and I hit rev limiter every gear LOL

Lmao! Don’t worry, when I made that pass here at Shadyside drag strip we probably had sub 1500DA LOL
Ahh that'll do it! Oh well you play the cards your dealt.i have no doubt the car can go faster. No lift shift, and a better 60'.

If I could crack off a 1.7x 60" it'll definitely go 7s. How deep, idk

God I love your videos LOL, that thing is making some JAM. The Pulsar stuff seems legit LOL, and I have to say for a 67mm it seems pretty responsive on the street :rocks:
Thanks man! I always feel a bit cheesy posting them haha

It's been a pretty good turbo but honestly this is really the only "big" turbo I've ever had so I don't really know what to expect or compare it to. That 2-4th was I think 50-131 according to the log. I wish I would have had my dragy turned on.

It sees 40psi at 5500 in 3rd. It definitely lights off around that 5500 mark in any gear really, driving around around town it's definitely a bit laggy but once it's in boost it's just so much fun.

Well boys, I don't think it's supposed to do that.

Looks like I'll be doing another transmission rebuild. Hopefully I've got a spare input shaft.

I'd vote on breaking the hub out of the clutch disk rather than input shaft.

Hmm.....didnt realize you have a twin disk. Guess i should've checked the profile. You'll know soon enough.
No worries! Hopefully that's not the case though. Those hubs are $800. I've already got a spare input shaft.

Hopefully I'll have it pulled apart within the next couple days and find out what I need to order.
