Well I finally was able to make it to the track this last weekend and Im simply amazed! This was all done on some Precision 1000cc injectors on e85. They are really limiting my setup but will be changed out this winter! These passes were at 30psi with about 18 degrees of timing up top.
First pass using launch control(2step) the car didn't leave very hard and I let off at the 1/8. Time was 6.85 @ 106.99. I was very very happy with the mph. Next pass I took of the launch control and just left using the foot brake. It felt really good so I stayed in it and the car felt amazing! Time:
60': 1.501
1/8: 6.523
mph: 106.97
1/4: 10.199
mph: 133.04
On the return road I got stopped by the official at the end of the track and he was pretty much yelling at me for having no safety shit and said I was going way to fast. I asked my time and he told me and I had to ask him two more times what he just said I couldn't believe it!!!!
So I somehow just got a warning so I had one more pass. I added a degree of timing but nothing else because I didn't want to risk anything being 3hrs from home. Launch felt good again so I stayed in it and got another personal best!!!! Time:
60': 1.531
1/8: 6.521
mph: 107.91
1/4: 10.159
mph: 134.42
The track officials kicked me off after that one! All In all it was an awesome day and weekend for my 100% street car that just drove 3 hours to the track to run bottom tens and then drive 3 hours home with no issues at all!!!!! I couldn't be happier with my car and all the hard work has paid off.
