Timing gear locked down at 100 ft/lbs and Orange Locktite. I made the holding tool a few years back when my son and I put a different set of gears in his rear dif on his 86 Z28 and needed to hold the pinion flange while crushing the crush sleeve so I put one extra bolt hole in the tool and it doubles as a 4g63 crank holding tool.
I am watching the classifieds for a T3 Manifold since I have block to turbo interference. I also remarked the correct TDC mark on the balancer.

I thought this engine looked familiar. Then with the turbo to block clearance you posted, I confirmed. We just recently followed each other on Insta, didn’t even realize been following this build for a little. Excited to see it running!

Hi Greg. Yeah, now I have to figure out what body this is best suited for. I have a few to pick from. My 1992 Old Grey racecar chassis, my White 92 Auto car that had a rats nest the size of Houston under the hood or a shell 1990 GSX.

I would probably go with the one that takes less effort/money. I know it seems like more neglect to other but time and energy is what I feel we are trying to conserve.

Maybe once this one is turnkey and startups up, show some love to other. At least get it dusted off and remove them city size nest . The cooler weather should be rolling in soon so hopefully it helps you gets you through these projects with a breeze.

Back to DSM Stuff. NGK BR7ES plugs and Accel Plug wires. Coil and PTU mounted for mock up also.
Progress, slow but progress. I also have an ARCII box to put on, so maybe next post.
I used today, a rainy day, to do the painting of a couple valve covers in the garage, since I had extra paint supplies

Everytime I look at this thread I already want to switch my setup to Turbonetics manifold and HY35W. There's something in this manifold style that I like, I think it looks great on DSM engine.
Have you decided yet how you gonna solve turbo fitment issues?

No I haven't yet. I have time to keep an eye out for other good used T3 manifolds though. This engine was just built as a spare (thank goodness). I'll figure out something. I really like T3 since it gives me alot of choices. Thank you for the compliment

Alright, THIS FITS but how will it work?
2" T3 spacer.
I don't have the hardware to bolt it all together yet so I made 3 EGR Blockoff plates and cut some exhaust gasket material for them. I notice most of my intakes all still had a valve on them so I needed them and may make a few more.
