New to DSM my Honda 4G63 swap

4g63t awd swap on my 91 integra rs.

Not new to cars but new to DSMs. I will probably get flamed but am working on a 92 Acura and am swapping a 4g63 in it. I know they are kswap and other swaps am just not a big K fan so that's why I decided to go this route.

Car should hopefully be running in a few months since I barely get to put any time in. This mess started as a joke, I wanted to do an AWD Honda and I just happened to have this shell around and a buddy had a 4g63 laying in his garage from a car he wrecked years ago so I decided to make it fit.

The layout of the 4g is pretty close with the original b series, one mount fell right in and the other 3 just needed a little modification.

Motor is in.
Rear subframe is in, currently modifying the struts. Wiring is in. Dash is been fabbed to fit.
Working on drive shaft mounts.

Thank you guys and I decided to do the 4g because of the cast iron block and abilities to hold power. I have other turbo Hondas that have been going through motors one a year. I would have to spend probably 3 to 4 times the money on a Honda block to get the amount of capability the dsm 6bolt has.

I’m curious on what often fails on your Hondas? I would presume head gasket, if the block and heads were distorting from the stress of boost.

I’ve seen a chilly reception here when someone brings up using a honda motor in a dsm. Dare I say hostile. I think you have won everyone over by going the opposite way.
 
A little bit of weekend progress. Got the driveshaft mounted but I don't know if it's too far into the transfer case just need you guys input on that. I need to drop off the driveshaft n have it lengthened a few inches.
Now I need to figure out the front axle situation..
 
Big f***ing update
Got the timing belt done resurfaced fly wheel
Put the motor back in the car hopefully for the last time.
Plugged in the harness and changed to 91+ CAS, fuel rail and throttle body and it doesn't fit all the way, needs washers. Tried to fire it up no go didn't have spark or CEL.

Jump pin 10 and grounded 8 on MPI relay and some carb cleaner and she fired up big ol fire ball from the exhaust. Only ran it for 5 secs because no coolant or fuel lines yet.

3 f***ing years I've been waiting for this moment. 3 f***ing years, I am so stocked should see the grin on my face. Let's f***ing go.
I need to figure out why I don't have a CEL amongst the long ass list left to finish this car.

Been a while since i updated this put a fuel cell, fuel pump and fuel lines currently working on spliced axles and custom radius arms. I still need to figure out the clutch pedal and cylinder.

Yeah small issue but big big victory for me, honestly I was just happy for it to start and run by itself. First time that engine has ran in maybe 8 years since it was pulled, I've had it for 4 years, Finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
 
So finally got the axles sorted out lots of trial and error. 2yrs later didnt want welded axles in case I broke one and also vibration concerns.
Part number in the Pic is what worked on the passenger side axle
Hubs are 99 crv gives me bigger brakes, axles and 5 lug conversion
Passenger side axle is outer 28spline, 25 inner about 21in long
2006 mist evo gsr inner cup is 1g dsm
Driver side 28 spline outer 25-2 inner i think
99 prelude axle 3000 gt inner 21in I think
Am posting this info incase it helps anyone in the future.
