Finally made it back out to the shop today and did a rough in for the throttle cable, and installed the driveshaft. Hooked up a bit of the harness to help see where it's going to run.

Got most of the exhaust tacked in tonight. Got more tubing on order. I'll be able to finish this part up next week with this apex muffler a buddy gave me. Definitely the easiest exhaust I've ever done.

Pretty decent day on the car. Had to reroute my intercooler piping and my exhaust down pipe to clear my sway bar. And finished routing the exhaust and even got the muffler and hangers. Started running wires for my wide band and oil preasure guage. Just waiting on my fuel preasure regulator and I can hook up my fuel lines and possibly start this thing.

Got my two guages so far wired up for now. Even the dimmer setting. I'm gonna order another double sided buss bar for a full time hot and ground. There is almost nowhere to ground in this dash. Everything is plastic. And probably add a relay to my ignition hot incase I wanna add more stuff in the future.

Holy crap, that's impressive! Nice job! This is the first time I've ever seen a non-Mitsu car having a 4G63 swap since, er... a few years, actually!

Everyone pretty much swaps LS motors and K series (garbage motors from Honda) into everything. So I'm pretty happy that someone actually stepped up and went with the 4G63 route! Welcome to the family, my good sir. And good luck on your own build!

Finally after over a year I got to hear it start. Unfortunately I have an oil leak somewhere and a top end noise to investigate but this is always such a huge step.

Dude this is awesome! I can’t wait to see it on the road, what trans did you end up using for it?

Some more headway over the weekend. I've been thinking how to run coolant lines since I started this project, really wanted to avoid welding fittings to the water pump. This is what I came up with. Upper line I had a muffler shop bend for me and I welded tabs to bolt it to the exhaust manifold. Really happy with how that turned out. The lower radiator line I welded an 1.5" 90 to an old waterpipe end. I have a 90° hose in the mail to run it forward to the radiator. It's gonna need some fine tuning but should work fairly well I hope.

Spent all day just trying to button up and plug stuff in but paid off huge, it finally moved under its own power.

Sealed and filled the diff and filled the trans. Got plugs ran for IAT, temp sensor, temp guage sender, fuel pump relay and fuel pump with proper guage wire, retuned for the 1000cc ID's.

Spend a large amount of time chasing grounding gremlins, and some issues with the ID adapter harnesses but it was a huge step.

My buddy is a better mechanic than camera man but we got some video.

Sorry to the 4 people following this that I haven't been on here in a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy.
Wound up getting a deal on a set of FP cams so I ordered some kiggly racing beehive springs and a kiggly HLA for the car since I was gonna be in there, and a Tial BOV to top it all off.
Then I knew that old ratty valve cover couldn't go back on so it got some paint.
During boost leak testing the intake ended up having a massive hole in it that I had to fix so it got some ford grey while it was off aswell. Then it boost leak tested at 30 psi with acceptable results.
I'll finish putting everything back together next weekend and then I'll be giving the tuner a call
