One of the nuts came off the front bumper bracket and had to cut a hole in the frame rail to get the bumper off the car.

this is were it is as of 5-30-11
Got the new battery box made last night at work. It will hold a yellow top. The box it self is 304 1/2 hard s.s.
It will be going inbetween the frame rail and 1/4 panel on the right side of the trunk. It will be sunk in to floor and bolted in flush so the trunk will not loose any space

IMG_20110530_111516.jpg

I gotta ask why did you decide to go balls out with this evo conversion? Insted of making it a basicaly stock evo3..

because I got board with it after 3 weeks of having it running all stock. I also cant leave any of my cars alone and they all get built

took out the seats and carpet and found this :( going to have to get some dry ice to get the sound deadner and fix the rust now.
IMG_20110601_115807.jpg

IMG_20110601_115759.jpg

also rewired the engine bay. got it all hooked up and tested it out to make sure it all works and passed with flying colors
lest side just has a few wires that had to be extended
IMG_20110601_182249.jpg

the right side all the wires needed to be extended into the car
IMG_20110601_182300.jpg

where the fuse box is now going to sit. just have to make a bracket for it
IMG_20110601_182311.jpg

tomorrow I will take it all back out and loom it all

IMG_20110602_185714.jpg

Also the best part they are going to buy the mirage evo 1 swap from me so they can have a 2nd car so the truck can sit. My mom just wants it with the stock panels and the evo x wing on it so. I am going to sell the evo 1 front bumper and skirts

Started on the engine harness. Took out the 2 plugs that are not needed. Also moved the wiring for the mas and the plug for the fuse box to the in side of the car.
IMG_20110603_120314.jpg

Marked and cut the harness in 1/2 to shorten it all up.
IMG_20110603_120309.jpg

IMG_20110603_123408.jpg

Also fedex droped of the new rear ltt lca's
IMG_20110603_123641.jpg

got the engine harness cut shorter by 2.5 feet. it is all soldered back together and ready to go back in the car. just have to add the wideband, egt,gm mas wires to the engine harness. Then I can loom the harness from the fire wall out. Still have to wire the mas and the plug to the fuse box in the car when the harness in.
IMG_20110603_194915.jpg

IMG_20110603_194922.jpg

got the engine harness loomed and put it the car. still have to add to the brake and wiper wires. Not much is going to show at all still have to pull it tight behind the engine and make a few brackets to hold them to the back of the block.
IMG_20110608_141951.jpg

left the harness to come out the stock spot since the washer bottle covers it up
IMG_20110608_151540.jpg

all the wiring behind the engine now
IMG_20110608_151626.jpg

wires that will show a bit. cas,2 on the t.stat, the o2 plug, tranny back up lights, tps, and isc. they will be pulled tight and hidden as much as they can be
IMG_20110608_151618.jpg

cant see the injector plugs any more, going to plug the 3 vac. nipples on the smim and run a vac block with all s.s. an lines to every thing
IMG_20110608_151605.jpg

got the new oil cooler put on. use 1 of the stock brackets that was on the car and made one out of some titanium I have laying around
IMG_20110608_162838.jpg

IMG_20110608_162902.jpg

Also got all the heater boxes back in the car.

wiring is all done now :)
got the mas plug and the fuse box (engine bay) plug wired back to the engine harness. You can also see the hole going into the engine bay that was for the drain on the a/c box. I cut the bottom of the box off and made a plug for it. I will use the hole for the Alt. wiring, starter wiring, wide band, boost, egt gauge wires
IMG_20110609_211611.jpg

The gm translator box is now next to the engine bay fuse box also will be putting the fuse block up there for the power from the battery
IMG_20110609_211557.jpg

IMG_20110609_211617.jpg

starting to look like a car a little bit
