I'll try to post from time to time guys
Yesterday I made the 2 front engine mounts just tach weld them for now i need to fab the transmission mount too

This and a 510 are my two favorite 4g63 swaps. Looking forward to the progress!

OK so just to add some context about this build and maybe answer some questions
I'm using a spare block and head a I had laying around
Yes the block is sitting on the subframe a have a spare subframe which I'll cut to clear the pan probably the pan will sit to low to the ground I might have to cut the pan and shorten it
The intake manifold is a stock 1g 6 bolt manifold I just cut the TB flange and weld it on the back
The km132 trans is about 8" shorter than the stock trans so in order to kinda fit it I'll have to cut the shifter hole and also probably I have to cut the firewall to better clear the head I'm not doing any of that until I finish the mounts

Couple question I probably can figure this out on me own but if anyone will to help me out I'll appreciate that
1. does the 6bolt head has mounting holes for the 2ga CAS?
2. is there a place where I can get a thermostat housing delete plug and reroute the coolant to the other side of the head?

Today I reinforced the trans tunnel and build the trans mount which bolts up to the tunnel wall
Next step is to cut tha subframe and mount the oilpan to see how low it sits, pretty sure I might have to cut the pan to make it sorter that also mean I have to add extra room for oil plus moding the oil pickup tube as well

Alright I know probably nobody cares but engine and trans finally and officially are in!
It took me way to long to get to this point it was not at easy as I thought anyway...
Next is driveshaft and the diff.
Fun fact the mighy max driveshaft has the same flange as the 1.8 miata with just the bolt holes being slightly off by a few mm
And yes I did paint the engine bay pink-ish.

This is the sentence every body needs. I have seen probably 100s of over enthusiastic folks that state "I'll just drop a 4g63 in there". Kudos for getting it done.
As Tom Hanks said...."it's supposed to be hard, If it were easy everybody would do it.".

Hey guys been a while since last update
So a lot have been accomplished also a first start! Project is almost done for first drive, all is left is a full exhaust and some minor here and there tweaks I'm using fueltech ecu stock 6 bolt engine, mightymax trans mightymax shorten drive shaft and stock 1.8 miata diff.

Honestly not much they claim to be good for 350ish hp but 4g63 puts out more torque than miata engines so...

First drive feels kinda smooth actually (Short video) except for the random jerks! it needs a tune badly! Haven't got into boost yet...
