4g63t Swapped Mighty Max

I am looking into 4g63t swapping my own 1987 red mighty max it currently already has a 4g63b in it I’ve read that I can swap the head on it but honestly would prefer to swap the entire engine. I saw a lot of stuff about having to get custom adapter plates for the transmission because of the wide block vs narrow block. Is that something you only need to worry about if you have the 4g64 in it or does that apply to the 4g63b as well? Was hoping for an easy swap and trying to acquire an engine with the ECU and wiring harness to avoid wiring complications. Also how does one tell if they have the wide vs narrow block?
