pretty much as the title says LOL!
Was wondering if any of you out there would post some pics of them at day an night...They look nice but was wondering how bright they were.

Thanks!

I'm still waiting on mine to arrive after 2 months. I should have ordered them when i first saw them before they became a big hit :banghead:

A friend of mine has the prosport evo's in his lancer Evo. They're great. As soon as I have the extra money, I'm getting all new gauges. He has done nothing but brag about them since he got them.

You should get him to send you some pics of them so you can post up here...I'm just concerned about the brightness at night...trying to stay away from the ricey look haha

Edit: just saw you were looking for the evo edition of the gauges. At first I thought just a prosport gauge LOL

^^^ It's sad to see that this is as close as we can come to matching our factory gauge cluster. I like the gauges - the only reason I don't have them is because they're still cheap prosports (but that doesn't bother me too much) mostly just the color matching.
My discontinued Defi-D gauges match perfectly. Wish we still had options like that.

I've heard mixed reviews but there's always going to be someone he hates every gauge... And I agree about the colors...I like the blue but like I said...I'm not wanting one that lights up my whole interior!!!

Well it's still possible, sensors can be bought new at present, you just need to find the gauges used, which usually is pretty easy. Love the matching look of the D-series. But I absolutely love my Defi BF 60mm gauges :)

We're all on the same page. :thumb:

dloiphone, Just want to be clear I'm not hatin' on ya or singling you out!

I have a set (well, an oil pressure gauge, the boost gauge is STILL on backorder..)

they arent very good during the day. The sun glares on em, and ive tried em on the pillar, in the center vents, on the steering wheel, in the gauge cluster bezel, down by the shifter....still seem to suck.

I just called to send back the one gauge i have and get my $$ back. Boost gauge SHOULD be back on their shelf Monday, but they have been saying "Oh one more week" every week since March 25th when i ordered the gauges.

i lvoe the look of the gauge, but it isnt as big as you'd think, they would be better off as 60mm gauges.

Also, when its not in boost, it doesnt have a neg sign like other digital faces. just something i found annoying, LOL

I cancelled my order a which back when I found out they were going to be at the least a couple more months. I'm going to be going with the AEM digital gauges instead.

HA, im going with those gauges as well. it KILLS beto be spending 145 on a damn boost gauge, but i figure i have to look at em every time i get in my car-why not get what i think looks best, and know will always be 100% correct.

Those gauges will also match my wideband very well too. $200 for a boost gauge is pricey but I'll have a new MAP sensor as well for SD and for anyone else they can then log boost too.

I have a set of them in my car, Im still waiting on my boost guage. All of the others shipped. It has been almost 4 months waiting for me... But I really want to have matching guages.

I was told that the shop that produces a microchip for the Guages got wiped out by the tsunami in Japan. I dont know if theirs any truth to that or not.

You can wire them to switch from red to blue if you want, I just have mine red all the time. Also their is a brightness adjuster on the back side of the guages. I had to turn mine way down from how they came, they were almost blinding at first.

Overall I really like them. They look pretty sweet on start-up with the full sweep. The only thing I dont like is that im still waiting for my boost gauge :notgood:

I dont have any pics but as stated above check youtube, especially for a start-up video.

*edit* I got the last gauge on 7/23/11 *edit*

i ordered them about a week ago before seeing this thread, i got the oil and boost pressure gauges, both arrived today..installed them in the dual gauge cluster surround, and in the spyder the gauges are almost impossible to read in the day, but at night, i love them.

Mine are red all the time, ill get some pics in a min

as other people said, they really are small in the 52mm size, as a 60 they would be awesome. either way, i like it.

Also for the oil pressure gauge, i just uninstalled the stock one and the supplied sending unit screwed right into the 2g OFH with no issues at all..

edit: Couple more random pics (one of daytime)

I'll be buying them later down the road. They're definitely worth the money.

I have the Boost and Oil pressure gauges. I don't have any pics, but they are awsome. could be better during the day but no biggie.
How bright are they during the day with windows rolled down? If anyone has pictures that would help.

I just installed my Boost Gauge Last night. Love it. Going to finish off with the whole series.

Did take some time to ship. But I was not in a hurry.

I will get some night shots later on
