Who has the fastest HX40 DSM in a .55a/r bolt on housing?

Kenny is right. His screenname on here is badman21. Clicky. 10.8sec at 134mph, 3300lbs. I believe he also holds the whp record for a housing that can be had in bolton form, almost 700whp with a bep .55 a/r housing.

Codeofdastreets is right, kenny (kp) has a BEP .70a/r housing. The only one with the .55 a/r housing at such a level (close to 700whp) is badman21.

Try anything less than ethanol or race fuel at even just 30psi for any turbo. Anything over that requires alot of meth injection or alot of other fuel, typically. The catch is, badman's turbo held up and was able to support that boost in the .55 a/r volute. Thinking of the big picture is paramount here.

I was always on the BOLT-ON mitsu flanged .55 a/r bep housing not the t3 .70 a/r :)
 
Well, just ordered a new set of pistons from Wiseco. Not too much longer til it's all finished. I want to see how far I can bring it with 93 octane and meth injection.

Dowt! It was Dave with the .70 a/r housing:ohdamn: . You were certainly in the 600whp range. So that's a good thing that more than one can be there in that range with such a small volute with that particular turbine wheel. Yours was the same 13blade regular hx40 turbine wheel right?

I don't remember what turbine wheel but it was the 6 blade 60mm compressor wheel.
 
Any updates guys? I made 341 at 24psi on a Mustang dyno. My times at the track have'nt been so great as of yet. The NX nozzle was added and brought my launch back to life. I am ordering a reworked valve body from Metro Trans to see if it will clear up my first gear shift issue.
 
I made 392 at 22 psi creeping to 24 on a dynojet on 92 oct with some base timing issues. im looking to break the record for a 2.0 2g with full interior on pump gas with the .55AR BEP bolt on housing, 7 blade HX40, and then see if i can stack up to the race gas record. Badman has a 2.3 btw. So does anyone know the current record for the following?

HX40 .55AR Mitsu flange
Pump gas -max 94
2.0

I want to break this so badly and i'm so close to getting able to try it out! Pending a 6 bolt crank pulley and a not bent OEM cam gear.

So far I'm #4 on the Dyno challenge record for the HX40 on pump gas all together. The person above me is only 11 WHP Faster so that shouldn't be too hard to smash and he is the only other one on a .55AR BEP but is also a 2.3 so by default i got it LOL :D. I'm sure others have the same combo i have but haven't hit the dyno yet. But it looks like I'm #1 In the record for PUMP GAS Bolt-on HX40 on a 2.0 wooohoooo!


If winter ever ends ill be stoked to hit the track, my last 1/8th mile (550ft track) was a 6.7 so I'm hopeful.

Anyone can hold a record if they add enough qualifiers.. Why don't you just go all the way with something like:
