Who has the fastest HX40 DSM in a .55a/r bolt on housing?

Not sure if someone has went quicker/faster than me yet in the bolt on housing. Years ago I went 10.8x and trapped a best of 134mph. I made 470whp on a mustang the same day I went 10.99 @ 128mph.
 
Sounds like you need to go 10.7x and 140.xx to claim that. :D

I'm shooting for mid 10's this year on a bep hx40. :). Just finished getting my car back together. Only bad thing is there aren't any 1/4 tracks close by until the California Speedway opens back up.. :banghead: Until then, I'll be hitting up the local 1/8 mile.
 
My fastest pass on the .55 mitsu housing hx40 was 10.99 @121.

Since then I moved to a stock 18cm^2 holset housing and have never looked back,
 
What are you runnning now on the stock one?
Ran a 10.15 @ 134 with it at the end of last season on only 30 psi because I was out of injector.

Could you post up some pics of your current setup? Can you tell us how the twin scroll setup responds with the stock stall. It must move out pretty quickly since your setup is similar to peepers.

The twin scroll is absolutely amazing. With the twin scroll my car stalls just as fast if not quicker than when I had my bolt-on housing 40 with a IPT restalled convert. In the video it does take awhile to stall but on the street its completely different. I think it has something to do with the trans fluid temp. It moves out really good for a full interior street car on 30psi. This season I have better injectors and valve springs so we will see what 40+ psi can do.

Honestly Im not sure at all. I think in second gear it hits 30psi around 4500 maybe. Ill have to log it when I get it running again.

Most definitely, it's a solid setup on that car and it works great. You really have me tempted to go the same route and use the stock HX40 turbine housing.
I really recommend it to anyone especially if you have an auto! What other 9sec capable setups out there let you utilize the stock stall without nitrous?? The car I can think of is the Compounded 2g. The power band is amazing also because it spools so fast and my car doesnt stop pulling all the way up to 9000rpm. It is really worth the money to go twin scroll.
 
I'm gonna push the bep housing for a while and later on when the car becomes a full race car, I will most likly go twin scroll like you and simplify the exhaust out the side. It's really only a manifold change and housing.
 
Will be down there this year for sure, only this time I want a ride in that beast! I made 341 on a Mustang dyno and never got even close to that 10.99. Friday I ordered a PTE 5858 dbb, hopefully this season I can get some good times.

Tx2K13 should be really good this year. Hopefully 1320 videos can get more footage of your car Beans. I'm sure you're not going to have any issues competing with your setup:thumb:

Thats a clean setup man! Let us know how the HX40 bep acts to spool up and what rpm range you see full spool. I heard nothing but good things using the 40 in bep housing. If im not mistaken you should see full spool around 4000-4100 rpms but then again it depends since you have an FRH intake and bigger cams.

For sure, I'll let you know how it works out. I ran one for almost a week before it blew up on me and I was seeing full boost by around 4300rpm.
