Which/What gauges should I get? [Merged 12-6]

So if i dont get that one, how does paying $196 for the Innovative LC-1 with a Blue DB gauge on Ebay sound?

Sorry to waste your time. Im throwing away all my shitty OBX gauages. Just got my AEM UEGO and Auto-meter Ultra Light boost. I have last open spot, what do you believes more important Oil or water temp. I feel like Stock water temp is decent. So I think Oil Psi is gonna be a better choice, how you guys feel?
 
Yeah, only reason why i might lean towards a Water temp. My temp's been rising every now and then. Buts it only goes to about the top of Symbol never went into the red. Is that common with highway driving?
 
I had it go to middle on highway but never a problems lately i have a fresh build 1000 miles, new hoses, and no leaks. So im not worried about overheating, but a oil leak where my stock oil return broke so my oil gauge saved my engine.
 
Oil Pressure - Mine saved my engine as well. My oil drain from my turbo cracked and leaked out 3+quarts. I never wouldv'e known, save for my drop in pressure.
 
Is there a way to mount a in-line water temp gauage? If anyone has pictures of this or can explain i apperciate it.

I can't find my picture, but there is an greddy product that installs inline with the upper rad. hose, and has a bung that fits the autometer sensor.

I'll sell my setup, complete with gauge, sensor, and bung. PM if interested.
 
I have the same dilemma. For me it is between fuel pressure and oil pressure. I already have a fp gauge under the hood but would like to read it in the cabin under WOT. Leaning towards fp.:thumb:
 
I would recommend the oil pressure gauge. While the others are important and do have their purpose I would make the oil pres. gauge a higher priority.
 
I got both aftermarket water temp and oil pressure meters. What I find interesting about the aftermarket(A.M) water meter that the stock meter will read normal temps way before my water temp. I'm guessing that the stock meter is also reading the engine temp along with the water temp. Also it about another 10 minutes or so for the A.M to get to normal temps.

Will that's my .02 for you

Yeah its a Brand New Obx A/F no wideband. And i think i could find all the parts give me a day. PM me so i dont forget.

You can just pull out the stock sending unit and put a threaded collar and bung in that hole. Its on the water inlet on the head under the rad cap. Its the one with only one terminal, i believe its 1/8 NPT.
 
Just wondering how the aem gauges are like the fuel pressure, oil pressure, nd boost gauges are??? I know alot of people use autometer but i can get a good deal on the aem"s so im wonder what I should do????
 
If you get a good deal on them they are probably just what you need. For the most part name brand gauges will do fine as long as they fit your desires for mounting, price, and styling. The major exception IMHO is a wideband where you'll want to do some research although I use an AEM and like it so you'd probably be safe there depending on what you want it to do for sure.
 
I have the aem digital boost gauge, the set up was so easy probably less complicated then you are thinking of right now. Its 52mm so its fits into all the bezels available for our cars. The quality of it is really nice and there are several face plates so you can interchange them. Black silver etc.
