the most crucial gauges that you can have are,
Wideband
Boost
Oil Pressure
Fuel Pressure
Those are all the vitals of the engine and the most important things to monitor
All you really need is a boost gauge. Wideband can be logged, stock oil pressure gauge is alright to use and so is the stock temp gauge. Fuel pressure gauge would be ideal on the FPR as that is where you are making your adjustments at.
I just run a boost gauge and wideband.
I have to disagree with this. At the most, the factory gauge is good enough to let you know if you have oil pressure or not. I discovered this when watching my factory gauge and my mechanical Autometer gauge at various RPM's and at various oil temps. At times, I can have anywhere between 20 psi and 50 psi of actual oil pressure, and the factory gauge will sit in the same spot regardless. Other times, I can hold a rock solid 25 psi, and the factory gauge is sitting at the bottom of the scale, hardly reading anything at all. In a nutshell, the factory gauge and sender is not very accurate at all, beyond a 'yes or no" whether there's pressure or not.Oil pressure, the stock gauge is good enough to tell you if you are lower or higher than normal. You don't need exact numbers for this.

. I have Volt, Water temp and Oil Pressure like everyone said. Dont know what ^ means with boost and wideband. Megan racing version 1!! ftwscrew it go triple pillar and dual clustar pod gauges
vacuum gauge
battery voltage
water temp
oil temp
egt

Agree ^^ also, imho I would suggest prosport gauges if you wanted to save a bit from autometer, I've put prosport on several different cars, very well priced and high quality and you can get them in almost any color, I like the amber cause it matches the stock gauge faces well
water temp, oil press, boost, wideband
anything else comes secondary.
boost might not be needed in this case but a wideband isnt nessicarly ever a bad thingQuality?! Prosport?!?! Prosports have got to be some of the cheapest gauges I have ever handled.
On a budget I'd go Autometer.
I persoanlly just replaced ALL of my gauges with AEM digital gauges. No more crappy Prosports.
I also contacted ECMtuning and was informed that the prosport wideband kit will work perfectly fine with dsmlink.
