Which/What gauges should I get? [Merged 12-6]

Oil pressure for sure. On mine I have intake manni pressure (boost) gauge, and a exhaust manni pressure (backpressure) gauge side by side. Works good this way for glancing at effictentcy. 30psi boost I see about 17-18psi back pressure!
 
I agree with everyone else as well, Oil pressure for sure. I dont have any major mods but I like to keep an eye on my oil pressure for safe measure.:hellyeah:
 
wideband, boost, oil pressure, water temp/dsm link and set cel to come on at a certain temp, and battery voltage but thats not a must but i like to keep an eye on it because ive had nothing but problems with my alt til i switched to a saturn unit

Link is so many gauges inone it's rediculus LOL. Ive got my Cel on knock and my factory boost gauge as a volts gauge.
 
For my self i want to get an analog AEM wideband, the question would be why do people chose the electronical ones?

I am going to get AEM Boost, AEM Wideband, AEM Oil pressure and AEM Water temp.
 
My new gauges... VDO vision with LED amber LED backlight.

Center console has Volt, Fuel, Boost/Vacuum (mechanical), Oil pressure @head (mechanical), and AFR... The AFR is a modified Innovate LC-1 mounted where the AC switch used to be.

Wiring and harness are coming along nicely... the loose connectors between the three gauges are for a relay.

I hot glued rings into the console to make up for the size difference and then used the supplied hardware to mount the gauges... they still need a little alignment. The vent panel was a bit shiny compared to the mat finish of the console so I plasti dip'ed it. I need to fabricate an air plenum to direct the air to this, now narrow, vent.

The main cluster which is under construction will house the original tach and speedo but I am substituting VDO gauges in for the three middle gauges... Water temp, Oil temp and Oil pressure @oil pump, (electrical)

Its a style choice. All gauge brands are proven. All the gauges are accurate and will last you a long time. 100PSI gauge should be fine. you really don't want to be running over 100PSI.

I run autometer for boost and oil pressure and Innovate for WB
 
I would look anywhere for oil pressure gauges for that rating that should be easy i run prosport, and innovative wideband.

So would a 100psi oil pressure gauge be sufficient? The reason I ask is because I read through an old thread on here that said a 100psi gauge isn't enough.
 
Its a style choice. All gauge brands are proven. All the gauges are accurate and will last you a long time though.

It's all preference and what your budget looks like. I personally have had a good experience with Autometer, Prosport, Glowshift, and AEM. At the end of the day, they get the job done.
