Where does this wire go?

This wire is stemming from a group of wires on the bottom of the alternator. It is white/red I believe.

My best guess is that it connects to the oil pressure sending unit:

Does anyone have any input on this one? I think this is the last unidentified wire that I have before I can get my DSM on the road!

It probably does go there. Im not sure of the wire colors, but I do know they get brittle and the connectors break off pretty easy. Hook it to the sending unit and see if the gauge works. If so, thats where it went.

Does anyone have a picture of the stock oil sender that shows exactly what is attached to the sender? I've never seen it other than what you see in the pictures here. I haven't even started the car yet!!!

The stock oil pressure sender has a flexible yellow 18 AWG wire with a special slide-on flat connector whose flat side slides over (on its flat side) the "top hat" pin on the end of the sender. The oil pressure switch (operates the oil light) has a flexible yellow/black 18 AWG wire with a special push-on end connector that goes over the terminal spade lug on the switch.
