Resolved whats this wire?

theres this wire that hangs its by the alternator wires im not sure where it goes. is it a ground wire?

i dont think its the P/S wire
my car has the same wiring hanging loose down there and was wondering the same thing
my p/s wire is still in place soo i know thats not it

Its hard to tell looks like some one has been in the harness though. I see lots of electical tape. I would undo the tape and see where it goes.

That's funny, I was just thinking "I wonder if it's the same wire that I have just tucked away."

I've been wondering what it is for, but I haven't seen any ill effects from not having it hooked up to whatever it isn't hooked up to.

I'm really curious if someone out there knows however.

i was wondering if it was a gorund for the down pipe or maybe the stock foglights
those were the only 2 things i could come up with

Its off my power steering. My power steering makes a loud sound would this be why?

that wire wouldnt make your p/s make noises. at least mine didnt. make shure your not low on p/s fluid. maybe your pump is going bad. dsm graveyard can get you a used pump for it or you can get a rebuilding kit from your local auto parts store. just make shure you prime it corectly if you remove it.
