Answering the original post, fuel goes out at 7200rpms and spark cuts out at 7800rpms. We had this discussion a long time ago on 2gnt but I believe those were the numbers.

Back on topic,
Locke did you ever log your car and find out the actual electronic limit on our cars?
I drive a 98 GS Manual and from my memory i want to say that it cut fuel at 6500 or just above it... But i seem to recall the engine slamming off of it like it wanted to rev alot higher. But that could just be wishful thinking.
If everyone else is getting to rev to 7300 and i'm stuck at 6500 I'm going to be tremendously upset.
(P.s. what's stock redline? My gauges read 6500 but i'm pretty sure they are aftermarket gauges so they might've been auto gauges)

I had that issue with some aftermarket gauges, even though redline was physically in the same place on the dial it showed the auto redline at 6500 instead of just over 7000

Hmmm. Well I guess that makes sense. Would that also mean that all of my RPM measurements would be off throughout the spectrum? My car does seem to idle kinda low sometimes. Now i want new gauge faces.
Yeah it would. I bet if you peel off those guage faces you'll find that they read the right numbers underneath.
Yeah i guess that's probably what i'll end up doing. I'm Curious what it'd look like though. I kinda like my white gauge faces. But the guy also put in some sort of color controller backlight thingie. And i didn't find the controls for it till just a month or so ago. It dims and switches between blue and green light. But my gauge faces are white with blue lettering so it makes it look like, blue and light light bluish green.
So does that mean he replaced the whole gauge or do you think the stock gauges are behind it? And if so, aren't the stock ones red? Or is it just red light behind it?
Edit: Sorry for being off topic. I'm new, I don't know any better. =p
