What is faster

I got a 99 GS "OZ edition" what would be faster a close to same year integra vs this eclipse and a Civic EX. These are the most common cars around my area and the eclipses are RARE. So just wanna know speed wise can the eclipse keep up with the compitition stock vs stock

did you get this eclipse off of autotrader by any chance?

anyways, the GS isnt a turbo, I think with a good driver it would KEEP UP. Also depending on what model integra. GSR, Vtec/no vtec, etc. civic EX is a sohc vtec. Stock for stock, you should be able to hang with the integra, depending on what model it is. as for the civic ex, that might be a problem. Throw an intake and exhaust and a nice header on the eclipse and you should be alright.

I thought that was for the amazingly powerful lancer ES
It depends how good you drive really. Is it stick or auto?
If its an integra GS-R or Type R your screwed
Civic EX your golden even though it has that V-TAK power

yeah ive ever heard of the oz edition either . thats why i asked if he got the car from autotrader, because i recently saw a car there and the seller was saying it was the "ultra rare OZ rally edition".

Yep, I think the oz edition only came out in 99. I know they have diffrent rims, but I'm not sure what else.

Go to the drag strip with your car and find out. There will be plenty of civics and integras there to compare your times with. Or just run one heads up.

OZ edition just has OZ rims leather tail in the back..all cosmetic.
I bought the carwith a blown motor from a auction for 2k and rebuilding the engine now costing me bout 1300. only reason im not droppin another engine in there is ### it only has 65k miles on it anda rebuild might make it live alot longer =). It is gonna be my all around car (manual) ### i put on ALOT of miles bout 25k per 6 months. I used to race but got married and cant really afford doin that shit no more. (would love to if i could afford it tho )

Ok a 99 Eclipse GS or RS is rated at 140hp and 130tq

Civics had a choice of three 1.6-liter, overhead-cam, four-cylinder engines. A 106-horsepower version went into CX, DX, and LX models. The Civic HX coupe got a 115-horsepower engine, while the EX used a 127-horsepower four.

Base RS and luxury LS Integras carry a 142-horsepower, 1.8-liter dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine
A new and different dual-cam 1.8-liter engine, similar in size but more potent, powers the GS-R. That one employs Honda's VTEC (variable valve-timing) system and makes 170 horsepower.
In 1997, Acura introduced a highly modified version of the 1.8-liter from the GS-R for its high-performance "Type-R" model. All-new connecting rods are hand-torqued, ports are hand-polished, while a new forged-steel crankshaft comes with counterweights made with special metallurgy techniques to reduce vibration and bending fatigue. The revised engine includes oval intake springs, dual-exhaust valve springs, thin-stemmed valves and lighter die-cast aluminum pistons with molybdenum-coated skirts. Additional oiling passages and new crowns help boost the compression ratio from 10.0:1 to 10.6:1. In addition, a special camshaft gives higher lift and longer overlap to match a bigger-bore exhaust and freer-breathing exhaust manifold, which features a single wide runner per cylinder rather than smaller twin passages boasting 195 horsepower

So you should be able to beat a Civic EX I would hope.
The Integra has got you no matter what especially with that V-TAK
The only thing the Civic has you on is RESALE VALUE

I would consider this a form of bench racing and/or street racing which is a on DSMTuners.
So I wouldnt start a thread like this ever again or ask how much horsepower your car is pushing
