What's faster???

ok I need your guys help to solve a small arguement between me and a friend of mine.

he is buying a 2.0L Turbo Laser, 91 FWD stock.

I am buying a 1.8L Non turbo Eclipse, 90 FWD stock.

Now, I'm going to do a turbo conversion to it.

Here is what my car will be recieving:
3 inch cat back exhaust.
high flow catalytic convertor
4G32 Turbo manifild.
Garrett T25 turbo
some custom piping.
4G63t intercooler
and an internal wastegate.
Now to my question. he is leaving his car stock, except maybe some minor intake mods. now, i will have more horsepower 210-220 to his 200(after intake mods) who's car will be faster??

I hear that... I just thought I'd do an exhaust and a couple "look good" mods.....joined the club here at home.....I now have a list a mile long of "go faster" mods....now the real fun begins..hehe You get the fever and it'll never be enough

i had a 1.8 eclipse definitely not worth turbo charging it plus you won't get that much horsepower out of it.....

Lol, I only PLAN on doing some intake and exhaust, but who knows what will happen. I don't think i'll have to much money to play around with though.

Laser - i doubt you'll ever do the conversion in the first place (to the 1.8 or 2.0). second, he will beat you, with simple mods. Pikolo, just do the intake and exhaust. when you got the time get a boost guage and MBC. rewire the fuel pump and that 1.8 will NEVER touch you. Laser, the 2.0 NT to Turbo conversion is vary possible (more so then the 1.8) but i would say wait to buy a turbo car. you'll dump so much $ into a slow car at best. You shouldn't post a question and then act like it was a statment. sorry, the talon will rock you.

i had a 1.8L eclipse back in the day and i honestly thing it is the slowest car ever made!!!! Can't comapre to anything on the road. Its actually kind of a danderous car b/c you cannot keep up with normal traffic. A 3 3 cylinder geo is faster. The engine is a piece and not worth putting an intake on it, let alone a turbo. Sell the car and buy a better one or just leave it alone and save money. Trust me that 1.8 is #### i don't even know why they made one in the first place. That engine is way too weak for that car. Come on 92 hp thats insanely low hp. With a turbo you wouldn't be much faster than a n/t 4g63 with intake and exhaust mods and those are still slower than hell....
