in prep of picking up the block from the machine shop i decided to clean the tranny up a little before it goes back in. I only got about 1/3rd of the way done before having to leave for work.

Got a lot of parts for the evo 3 at back to the 50's car show

my dad got me the bendable s.s. heater hoses to match my radiator hoses that I got for the car last year. (traded my dad a halo hopper for them LOL

also bird at work made me some alum bushings for the megen toe and camber arms. just have to press them in now

Ordered the last 2 fittings I needed for the ofh forgot yeaterday
Ordered the alum blocks for the vice to put the an fittings together

my dad got 2 QT cans of satin black for 60.00 and gave me one

Got a 80a realy to replace the 30a one on the bosh -044 fuel pump
got a 3 in and 4 out fuse block for power for alt,starter,ect
also got 4 20a fuses for the gauges and smaller stuff to run power to

Still trying to get my damn car to start! grrrrrrrr :notgood:
 
I pulled off my front bumper, removed the stupid HID's the previous owner had for foglights(popped the fuse a few times), and finally put in regular fog light bulbs after a year and a half of owning the car.
 
Installed a factory radio finally! 3 years, first time I hooked everything up. Still all stock Infinity setup, sound decent still.

Went on a cruise with a mustang club... Didn't break anything:) Hope I can back date. Went to the strip for the first time last night. Pulled a 13.79 with a 1.88 60Ft
 
Took my 1000 mile 20g apart only to find that the compressor wheel was hitting the housing, caused by in and out shaft play.

My head gasket is blown too. So i gotta do that and install some arp headstuds too.
 
Today I:

Rewired my Walbro 190 Fuel Pump :rocks:

Added some rubber dampeners to my 3" exhaust to make it stop vibuzzing all the time :shhh:

Fixed my hatch strut that somehow came off :confused:

Did some wire tucking :thumb:

Bought a new eBay N1 Muffler to replace my Shorty Header Muffler. :hellyeah:

Bought some OEM AWD decals



Stared at my precious. :sneaky:

Why didn't you get the cd player one?

He might also have gotten the trunk piece as well...that ones like mine and has the cd changer in the boot.

But...to stay on topic!!! I cleaned the valve cover and am getting ready to paint it!!
 
I have a cd one, but only the right speaker outputs work. I swapped this to test and it worked! So I left it, then I noticed the AUX port and I was sold.

Plus this one has a the inverted lcd, so I can see it with the top down and sun hitting it.
 
Long day, went and picked up my DSM buddy to go tear apart a n/a parts car for some goodies. Got a hold of a new dash unit.

my old one was broken and beaten I am so happy I found a good one. Also got a BISS out of it as well as some other minor interior pieces. Then tore apart old 1g maf to make the 2g connector. Car started up first time, something I haven't had it do cold EVER!!! It only holds idle around 500 but I believe that's my old biss being completely tight and broken so after I can swap that hopefully I will be golden.
