The fueltech did pretty good on adjusting to it, I had to pull a little fuel at idle, it was still able to compensate enough on it's own but it was nearing the limits.Peak DSM right there. Any behavioral notices with the 16v?
haha, I know, that's killing me, my past struts no longer work with the billet hinges. I haven't given up on them yet, just other priorities. This shot looks soooooo good:

If only you had used a more "elegant" hood prop solution.I know, I know... because race car.
Oh I know how it goes, just giving you shit because that photo is so bad ass.haha, I know, that's killing me, my past struts no longer work with the billet hinges. I haven't given up on them yet, just other priorities.
It's been a dedicated racecar for 3-4 years now. I'm in my mid 40's with the back of a 60 year old and honestly I don't have much desire to street drive a rattily turbo stick shift car anymore. How much do you drive this car on the street now? Or plan to? @jdxnc Looks killer!
As much as I hate AI, it does have a use in this instance.Oh I know how it goes, just giving you shit because that photo is so bad ass.
I remember seeing that there was an OZ outlet somewhere close to the border of New York and Canada, would it be unreasonable to assume that they can order wheels from OZ of Japan? Or at least provide you with some information on the specific wheels you’re inquiring for, assuming they don’t deal exclusively with OZ of Italy.May have finally got the wheels I want for my Evo. In an ideal world it would have 16x8 5x114.3 Regamasters but they are very hard to come by and $3,000+ when they do.
Anyway, I like the 15x6 Evo 2/3 GSR OZ Crono on the Evo 1/2 RS like my car. They’re just a bit weak on size and offset, and won’t clear my Cobalt SS Brembos. Catalogs say to go up in size, there is a 16x6.5 +45 and 17x6.5 +45 in 4x114.3 for the Evo (barf). To get 16x7 +30/35 or 16x8 +38, it has to be 4x100 or 5x100. A 17x8 and 17x9 are available but they are 20+ pound tanks and would make my car look like a donk.

I found a used set for sale in Japan that isn’t in any of the books - 16x7 +40 - but the bolt pattern isn’t specified. It’s easy to dismiss them since everything for sale in 16” right now is 5x100, but I noticed the bolt pattern extends wider on these. I dug and found record of an old Suzuki Swift with this spec (which is a 5x114.3 car), so they are indeed 5x114.3 wheels, and the width and offset are right in my fitment wheelhouse. So after buying the set (and another stray 16x7 +40), I now have a previously unknown set of 16x7 OZ Cronos that will look right at home after refinishing, and cost less than a single Regamaster wheel. A true OEM+ solution that mimics the original, but better in every way. Keep your eyes peeled out there, sometimes the right answer is right under your nose.

Like most things on earth, OZ’s best offerings, in my opinion, were in the 90s and aren’t available new anywhere. The original Crono (especially Magnesio) and their original Rally wheel are high water marks for wheel design. I’m not a fan of anything they produce now, and almost nobody makes a cool, period correct 16” wheel anymore.I remember seeing that there was an OZ outlet somewhere close to the border of New York and Canada, would it be unreasonable to assume that they can order wheels from OZ of Japan? I was a big fan of OZ’s Superleggera as it was the wheel on the Eclipse from NFS Underground, so i was sad to learn it was replaced in ‘07 by the Ultraleggera, which for the most part looks similar until you put them side by side and see the differences. Konig’s Hypergram looks way more closer to OZ’s Superleggera than OZ’s own successor imoLike most things on earth, OZ’s best offerings, in my opinion, were in the 90s and aren’t available new anywhere. I am a sucker for 5 star wheels and worse if they're white. I need these.May have finally got the wheels I want for my Evo. In an ideal world it would have 16x8 5x114.3 Regamasters but they are very hard to come by and $3,000+ when they do.

I have a single 17x8.5 OZ Monte Carlo that fits my car perfect. I would give anything to find three more.
