Adjusted the tune a little bit. At highway speeds(70-75) if boost got anywhere near 0-2lbs, it'd go pig rich. Like 10:1. Took some fuel out because for whatever reason that spot was in the 90's for VE. The rest around it was more reasonable, so I blent (my word) it all together.

I'll take the laptop tomorrow when driving to work and do more logging to make sure it's good. If not I'll use the ECMLink tools to make it more copacetic.

The adjustments helped, but was still in the 12’s. Thankfully I brought the laptop and logged it, a quick right click and “SDADjust combinedFT” and save to ECU has it perfect now.

Love ECMLink.

Man I wish I had the taller 5th gear though. However it’s super nice that a simple drop to 4th and 22lbs hits immediately. I rage-passed a semi and didn’t really think about it because I’m used to the Edge. Dropped it down to fourth, merely low boost 22lbs, then got over. Looked down and I was kissing 110+. Holy crap. Lol. I was barely in it!

What would’ve happened had I dropped it down into third and hit 30+lbs?!

You would have passed and been back in your lane in 3-4 seconds or less. ROFL

You wouldve ended up in the year 2023, trying to warn a slightly younger Corey to drop it to 4th gear instead of 3rd or it will break the time/space continuum, but he doesnt believe it, because he cant fathom having a perfectly running DSM...

I am not sure whether to laugh at this or cry. So freakin true. He’d be like “yeah okay champ, whatever”.

Finally got around to replacing my factory door speakers! Bought these Pioneers off amazon.

Of course the new speakers didn’t line up perfectly with the factory mounting hole so I decided to modify the factory speaker template or whatever LOL.

Took the sheers to the factory speaker to remedy the situation and used some super glue as well.

This is so cool let us know how it works I was thinking about doing the same

"Music" to my ears is the sweet hum of my 4g63, the whirl of my turbo and the 3" exhaust out the back. I do have a stereo in my car but can't remember the last time I used it. My car makes me smile. ;)
To quote a member on here "when I turn my car on, it returns the favor!" 💯✌️

Found some fog lights for $50. Brackets, lenses, and OEM Osram bulbs. Tossed them in today and was stoked to find the stock wiring is not only all still there, but it all works too.

Stoked. Now that I know it all works I’m gonna shine the lenses up crystal clear and throw in some bright white LEDs.
Nice let me know what products are you using for bright the fog lights lenses with I'm interested 😁

My HVAC controls weren't lighting up, so I replaced the bulbs with some I found off of Amazon, and they worked great! Full write-up in my build thread HERE. This was the result.

Matches the gauge cluster perfectly, and the bulbs I used were actually 3mm tiny ones instead of the 4.7/5mm bulbs that it calls for. And these weren't LEDs either! Stoked for an $8 fix. You could easily do this same thing with colored LEDs and turn all these lights whatever color you wanted. Blue, Green, Red, White, etc.
Super cool man thank you so much for the write up I purchased a whole kit from eBay I'm replacing the bulbs on the car with LED lights the whole Dashboard with Red ones including my 5" tach/ boost/oil/volts and pyrometer can't wait to see the finish product

I just bought a bunch of relays and some extra stuff a set of straight cut oil pump gears a battery trait all aluminum and a set of raw aluminum sun visor clips from Jose Gonzalez

Ever since the first NFSU game, I’ve loved Eclipses, and in the future I want to build a couple of projects for myself and possibly for sale (if it makes financial sense). I believe these cars have great potential but are still undervalued. One of the builds I want to create is an Eclipse with Evo X components — the SST and AYC — and another idea is to swap in everything from a 3000GT, including the transmission. I can customize anything, and I have the equipment, so I think these projects will turn out awesome.

P.S. If you have any advice, recommendations, or constructive feedback, I'd be glad to hear it.

As a 3000GT guy that has been around 3000GT's for over 20 years you are better off sticking with the Eclipse components. Guys swap the DSM 4G63 engine into the 3000GT due to power, reliability, and aftermarket support.

went for servicing, changed the oil and filters, then took her for a wash, and i did my tyres guage

Took my little brother out for a ride in the dsm, ran out to a to take a look at a sweet find a buddy of mine happened to find. Little rare find my brother had been looking a couple years for. He use to have one decade ago but was totalled in a accident. Couple hours later with some cash exchanged, my brother is back in one of his favorite Mitsubishi ever made and now that he is a grown up with a daily, he can start to enjoy building himself a sweet early 90s turbo car again. Gotta admit always thought these vr4 3000 gt"s were pretty sweet looking. Now he can roll out with me instead of passenger in my gsx.
