Got my engine on the stand. Pulled the head off found this. Gonna finish tearing it apart and start my measurements on the block. Probably gonna get a 2g head in the future when I start ordering my parts.

Holy blueballs, Batman. Up and running on spring pressure, but getting more fuel than whats targeted and phantom knock. I expect the knock sensors finally puked its guts out.

Once again dyno gets delayed.. tomorrow? Saturday? Who knows

I just lost my job and I'm waiting on unemployment till the busy season comes back around. I'm trying to figure out if I should keep my car and restore it or should I just part it out and move on to another dsm later in life. I have a 97 gsx and its been in my garage in pieces for about 3 months. I was just waiting on the time and money to put it back together. The bad part is some days I look at like damn I need to get rid off it and then some days I'm like I should just finish it. SO
I'm asking you guys what do you think I should do I have plenty of time and the money will come eventually. so should I keep it or not

Only reason to sell a dsm is if the body got in a wreck bad. Or it caught on fire bad. Or it's rusted out all the way.

Haha trolled.. It is called "Real street drags" at the local track. No lights, no time slips and no tree. Just a hot chick flagging anyone who wants to race. Pretty neat actually.

Went to the junkyard and finally found a genuine center tail light section that wasn't broken and also had the entire word "eclipse" on it... small battles over here, check one for me. Also figured out that some bastard is just going around randomly and taking all the door caps from every eclipse/talon in the yard, no side skirts, no front or rear caps... just the door caps.

That's the last body pieces I need before paint, and I ain't payin the $200 flee bay wants for those either.

Just drove it. Downpipe bolts somehow sheared off halfway home, but that just let me hear the freshly built H1E even better. Haven't even popped the hood to check it out. F***s given ≤ 0

Was there a certain year on the center that says talon on it? There was a 96 in the yard I went to, didn't look at the lights since I don't need them. But its an excuse to go back if its a possibility its on a 96.

Check this out for bad luck..I get down to the last valve seal,reach for the bag and there are no seals left in the bag.

Bummer! I had a lifter that wasnt machined properly and didn't fit in it's hole, had to put the whole head on hold til i got a spare.
