1G WDO Relay Wires

In the process of rewiring my engine bay, I cut the small blue/red wire coming from the WDO relay in the main fuse box in the engine bay.

Can anyone tell me the pinout of that relay, or what that wire is for/where it goes. I can trace it as far back as the passenger side plug behind the kick panel, then it runs up into the dash towards the driver side.

I have everything perfect how I want it and I don't really want to fish a wire back through the loom, if it is just a ground, or ignition switch.

Car is a 91 tsi

The small blue w/ red wire does ultimately run to the ignition switch. From the relay, it runs through a connector under the main fuse box under the engine bay, into the cabin where it hooks up at the control wiring harness and body wiring harness connection underneath/behind the center console. If you follow the loom that has the ECU and MFI relay plugs on it, the other plug (14-pin for manual transmission cars, 18-pin for automatic transmission) from the loom is this connection.

Somewhere between there and the junction block (driver side kick panel), the wire color is changed from blue w/ red to just blue and runs to pin 2 of the E (C-55) slot on the junction block. Behind some wire running/circuitry/magic, it comes out of pin 2 of the F (C-54) slot on the junction block to pin 2 on the ignition switch.

That particular wire to the ignition switch is also for the air conditioner control unit, air conditioner switch, defogger timer, heater relay, ABS relay, and for Canadian vehicles for a transistor relay and daytime running light relay.
