That's probably the starter relay. You could also have an issue with the ignition switch and clutch switch.

clutch switch is dissabeld
i found a you tube video from a 91 dsm with the starter relay part number MB510818
when googeling that part number i get a starterrelay for a 2G?
the pics in my earlier posts from the relay seems to be the abs relay
is there a way to test my ignition switch or do i have to replace it?

thanks

Manual or Automatic?

IIRC, the manual trans uses a NC switch that disconnects the starter signal from the started when activated by the clutch safety switch grounding the starter relay coil and the automatic uses a NO switch that makes the circuit when the trans inhibitor switch is in park.

So if it's a manual and you feel the relay clicking, something is telling it to break the connection of the starter.

It's a manual.
The relay i thought was the starter relay was actually the abs relay (the one who was clicking), the starter relay has the part number MB510818 on it.

I think my problem is a bad ignition switch. When I turn the key I only hear a click every now and then. When i wiggle the key it clicks and cranks sometimes.

I think a bad connection in the switch gonna replace it.
I got a part number for the switch MB542442 or MB606048

Do you happen to know which one?
thnx
