Short and sweet, just like the title.
VRSF or Greddy 24V? I currently have the VRSF on there, but I miss the foglights, replacing my powerade bottle is becoming a hassle (haha), and I can get a 24v kit for cheap.
I'm not concerned about the cost, so please lets skip the lectures on that matter. My concern is performance (long vs short route piping), quality of heat transfer, etc.

Powerwise, I'm not looking to make much over 400whp. Also, I've made a housing for the front bumper which directs all the air through the VRSF core, so does the 24V fill the whole opening?

Cheers.

This is easy, considering the GReddy is a worthless piece of crap with 82 miles of piping and a junk core.

Insanely expensive but it's a great choice if you got money...however with the size of the endtanks I don't think it solves the foglights problem LOL

To the op I say stick with the vrsf. Fab up some brackets for the foglights

The PR is a good kit, I run it right now. Only reason I am wanting to switch to the VRSF is the super short piping route. I am trying to quicken the 1/4 mile time or else I would stay with the PR kit.

Punishment FTW!

Fit perfect and is a short route, oh and did i mention you keep your fogs. :thumb:

Switched my PR FMIC to the VRSF FMIC.

The VRSF is the best imo. Easily change BOV, larger core, and short route.

Only complaint thus far, which isnt really the intercoolers fault, is the throttle body elbow flange is aluminum. So if you take your elbow or TB off often, the flange gets warped, and not flat. Wish it was made out of SS but oh well.

VRSF FTW

Thanks for all the input. I'll be sticking with my VRSF one as it seems to be a popular item.
Only issue down the line is installing the magnus intake manifold, I'll have to cut and reweld the TB elbow.

Also, by sticking with the VRSF, I'll be able to install some form of cold air routing for the air filter through the stock piping hole.

I have a Greddy long route.. I hate it.

i hate the greddy long route as well.... HATE IT ALSO.... if cost isnt an issue i know this is off topic, but how about an ETS FMIC? if cost isnt an issue... i was gonna go with that but im going with VRSF because its cheaper and raited for more CFM's

anyone know the heat transfer and pressure drop of the VRSF? and anything to back that up?

Thread has been resolved already.... Didn't you have a thread on intercoolers already discussing FMICs? ETS is a great intercooler if you want to spend the money.
