1G Valve springs

I have read many treads about 1g and 2g using evo valve train parts. I have recently acquired a 06 evo and have a spare set of dual valve springs and retainers from my 1g front what I have read is everything from a evo will work on a 1g or 2g but nothing is discussed about the way around. I’m pretty sure I know the answer but can anyone see a issue with using that set up on my evo 9?

I believe that the evo valve springs require a shim in a dsm. So it's possible that dsm valve springs are too tall for an evo???
