Kind of a intresting idea, cost for both of these upgrades is about the same, so which would be better? I am planning on either the upgraded SMIC, or running a dual MBC one boost setting for driving, the other to arm the water/meth and higher boost setting. My over all plans are to keep the 16g evo3, I'm gonna get 660's just so I don't have to worry about the fuel situation with a 190 pump. I have no other plans for this car. It may see the strip a few times, but honestly I have other cars that I drag race ('65 plymouth belvedere, and '72 duster on the way), so this i just my daily driver. I really don't need to push the limits of boost too much because I need it to be tuned for safety all of the time since this is my daily driver. I'm hoping that with an upgraded SMIC or water/meth stock SMIC I can push maybe 18psi~20 on 93 pump gas? Can anyone justify going with one or the other?
Seems like the stock SMIC with the Water/meth would make more over all power the the upgraded SMIC. SAFC could have 2 tuning set ups for each situation. Am I crazy or does anyone else think this might be a good idea?
Thanks
